Did you know Trefoil provides funding for sports equipment and courses through our personal development grants? We’ve recently supported Colin McDonnell (pictured) a keen member of a new Boccia Club in Leeds. Colin says, ”when I first started playing Boccia I only had a piece of gutter to use as a ramp. This was really difficult to use and I had no accuracy. It was beginning to get me really frustrated because I couldn't progress any further. Trefoil funded an amazing Boccia ramp and Boccia balls which enable me to play a sport with my peers and even the possibility of progressing on to competition level.” The criteria for personal development grants and an online application form can be found here.
