WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
The Trustees of Trefoil instructed a website accessibility specialist to review the trefoil.org website and make recommendations to improve its accessibility for users, particularly those with additional support needs. Upon receiving the accessibility report, the following changes were made to the website:
- Improved screen reader voice over flow.
- Improved navigation buttons for screen reader users.
- Improved keyboard navigation.
- Alternative formats of documents being made available.
- Clearer link titles.
- Alt text on images.
The Trustees acknowledge that the following recommendations cannot be implemented due to the underlying coding of trefoil.org:
- Functions of certain navigation buttons.
- Flow of navigation bar options.
- Two tab stops being required to highlight focus.
- Heading levels within articles.
- Accessibility of online application forms which are provided by a third party (jotform.com).
If you are unable to use all areas of the website, please contact the Trefoil administrators who will be able to provide alternative methods of communication and information about Trefoil, its grants and applications processes.
