Drake Music - Junior Digital Orchestra

In January 2017 Trefoil continued our support of Drake Music by providing a grant of £4,350 to their fantastic Junior Digital Orchestra project.

This gave 4 teenagers with severe physical disabilities the opportunity to learn to play and compose music using a range of accessible technologies which can be played by the palm of the hand, chin, foot and even brainwaves. In May, following weekly rehearsals these musicians joined the Junior Digital Orchestra, performing for the first time in a public venue. This was followed by a concert in June where two new pieces, written by the Junior Digital Orchestra, were debuted.
