As the Trefoil School Association has disbanded, perhaps some former members will join me by using the Friends of Trefoil site to keep in touch.
I started as a Community Service Volunteer at the school from February to July 1968, attended the summer camps run by Mavis Blackwell during my time at university, then returned full-time as a Junior Housefather from August 1971 to July 1972. I did teacher training after that and taught in Elgin, but returned to the then re-founded Trefoil Holiday Centre in 1978 as Assistant Warden - with Mavis Blackwell as Warden. I later moved on, and now find myself living with my Japanese wife, Chieko, in Japan, after having taught English in Taiwan for 15 years.
Good luck to all who have been involved with Trefoil in one of its many guises.
